High carbon steel is valued for its strength properties and operates at significantly higher levels than the mild steel grades. High carbon steel contains carbon approximately from 0.60% to 1.70%. These steel strips & slit coils are almost always used in those applications where wear characteristics and higher strengths are important.
Supply conditions: hardened and tempered, cold rolled annealed, spheroidized annealed.
Applications: Automobile Clutches, Tolerance Rings, Bulldog Clips, Circlips, Chain Links, Hand Tools, Trimming Knife Blades.
